Only stayed the one night, Friendly clean and despite being on a busy main road it was surprisingly quiet at night, no traffic noise and had the windows open. Fab cooked breakfast all in all excellent value for money would definitely recommend staying here
Warm welcome, lovely comfortable room with fabulous bathroom with very large shower (no bath). Good breakfast too. Upright fans had been put into the rooms to help with the recent hot temperatures which was a nice touch. Due to location some morning traffic noise if windows open which wasn't an issue for us. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
We stayed here when visiting the area mountain biking. The hotel was very nice, rooms appeared to have been recently renovated and were to an excellent standard. It's a short walk from the centre of town (10-15mins) making it a good location when visiting Monmouth. There is a car park at the hotel which was convenient and ensured no hassle.
Beautiful hotel! Room was beautiful, service was fantastic. Don't miss out on the breakfast, either! Delicious. We will definitely be back and couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
Has a nice atmosphere of a local pub and the food tastes good and is cheap. The best feature in my opinion is the pool table and the dartboard which are both favourites of mine. The parking could be better and accessibility for larger cars isn't great but other than that this place is great.
We stopped overnight here. The location was really good overlooking the Monnow and opposite the School. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size was nicely appointed and the bathroom was really lovely. I particularly liked the rainfall shower. Breakfast was good except for the sausage which I thought was tasteless. A great value overnigjt stop forxa tourist town.
A lovely stay. So local and walking distance to Monmouth town. Lisa at reception was so friendly and helpful and arranged for a local taxi for us too also proving us many restraunt choices for the evening. A great set up and breakfast was delicious. Our room was ideal and the en suites look recently updated.
We stayed a single night with breakfast. The gentleman managing the bar couldn’t do enough for us. For breakfast we had a fully cooked breakfast that was 5⭐ along with the Chefs tip top hospitality. Highly recommended
